Pavlos Sarfatis’ studies at the Higher School of Fine Arts and his studies alongside the painter Yannis Moralis and the mosaicist Elli Voila inspired him in the art of mosaic. His constant study of mosaic construction and pasting techniques provided him with the expertise in mosaics that is demonstrated by the presence of his works in over 180 churches in Greece, Cyprus, Russia, USA, Germany etc. His work continues with repeated awards for his contribution to the visual arts.
